Animated GIF's? or Animated "GIFTS"!

SPREAD THE CHEER!
Right Click (or Control Click for Mac) to download so you can pass it on to you're friends!
I've always wanted to do these but never got around to it.
My homage to the Weebl's Stuff Kenya video!
If you watch the video try to imagine Gretchen & Chester dancing with the Lions & Tigers :)

Page One Panel One

Here are the first 2 pages from the P&P graphic novel I'm working on. I did some experiments with grays and found a way of doing letra-tone and also decided to letter it on the computer. The computer lettering is easier to read and let's me tweak the dialogue up until the very end :)

I've toyed around with P&P as a graphic novel and I really like the format. Even the strip itself was a serial, and I tended to have narratives lasting over the course of many episodes, so this seems like the way to go.

I'm not finished writing the whole story (it's gonna be epic!), but I have the first chapter scripted (and outlines for the next 3) and wanted to sit down and flush out some scenes as I write. I'm excited about doing an actual story, and wanted to get some pages drawn to help motivate myself :)

Digital Strips!!

Hey Everybody!
Sorry for not posting - ever since I moved to the West Coast, it's been hard to find the time to get back into stripping ;P I've been spending quite a bit of time developing 2 other projects that have been in the works since last year but seem to be coming closer to becoming reality with each passing week :)

Anyhoo, Andrew Power sent me a link to this site which has the best review of P&P EVER! These guys sat down and obviously spent a lot of time with the strip and go in depth to the content and spent the bulk of a 22 minute podcast going through P&P! I'm looking forward to hear in more of their stuff - because they clearly hunker down and get into the stuff they review and provide credible and constructive feedback!

Check them out, I imagine they are a great portal to finding rare gems in the Wonderful World of Webcomics!

Celebrity Sketch from SPX 2008

I just found this in my backpack.  It's a sketch Greg Hyland did for me at SPX last year, satirizing the sketches I do for people at shows.    I usually draw Gretchen and Chester doing something super mundane with really enthusiastic expressions and a cheesy one-liner.  If you've ever got a sketch from me, you'll probably get the joke :)
Check out more of Greg's genius here: Lethargic Lad.com

P&P Custom Chucks!

Ingredients: 1 pair of Chuck Taylors, 1/2 a bottle of Wite-Out, 1 brush, and a pinch of india ink.

Maybe one day Converse will launch a P&P line of Chuck Taylors...but for now, it's "One Of A Kind Custom Designs" by yours truly!  If you're in the Bay area, keep your eyes open for a short, cute, Korean girl - cuz she's got the only pair!
